About Us
Read about CASDEM's mission, history,
officers and by-laws.
To promote energy management in schools, provide a means of sharing
information on energy management issues related to schools, and to provide
opportunities for cooperative efforts related to energy management among school
districts.
CASDEM was formed in 1998 by a handful of school district energy managers, as
an informal networking group. Since then, CASDEM has grown to include about 50
members, and has regular meetings and conferences. In addition, CASDEM works on
cooperative projects among members.
The
Governor's
Energy Office (GEO) endorses and supports the mission of the Colorado
Association of School District Energy Managers. GEO offers a variety of free
services to individual school districts to further encourage energy management
in Colorado's schools. For more information about GEO and services they provide
to Colorado K-12 schools please visit the
Governor’s Energy Office webpage.
